Melanie Bloom and Kimberley Brackenridge formed Brackenridge & Bloom design in 2008 and created a dynamic and highly respected interior design company with superior customer service, high quality interiors and innovative, exciting designs.

Brackenridge & Bloom design offers an interior design service which keeps the client at the centre of the project so that you have a sense of ownership and attachment to the finished interior rather than an outcome which has been ‘prescribed’ by the designer.

To facilitate this, a strong client relationship is required and this is where Melanie excels. Having worked as a Registered Nurse and then the area of Medical Sales, Melanie is very approachable and easily builds rapport and develops a trusting relationship with clients. Her ability to connect with you quickly and excellent listening skills means she quickly understands your requirements and can lead you through the design process to create the home you desire.

With experience in both commercial and residential design the majority of her projects have been working with clients in their current home or planning a new build, to create beautiful homes and provide interior solutions that reflect the client’s style and personality.

With extensive industry contacts- textile makers, furniture designers, joinery specialists, galleries and access to the latest products and trends Melanie can recommend a wide range of products within all price ranges. If something is unavailable it can be custom made or produced.
